On Sunday, April 16th, a delegation of Nzuko Anambra Women visited Mrs Nkechi Okeke to offer their condolences and solidarity. Mrs Okeke, who recently lost her husband and daughter, expressed her gratitude for the gesture and shared her feelings of grief and hope. “It is hard, but I’m healing and able to face the day by God’s divine grace and mercy,” she said. She also thanked the group for their prayers and support as she copes with the loss.  
The delegation included Adaide Nkiru Okonkwo, Ngalakwesili Nkiru Okafor - Ada Awka, Chi Chi Obukwelu - Nwanyi malu ogo, Ijele Chinelo Chikwendu, and Iyom Ngozi Onubogu - Ugodiya Ekwekwesili.         
They presented Mrs Okeke with a check of $1000 and a card signed by Nzuko Anambra women. They also signed another card for Mrs Cecy Okeke, the sister-in-law of Mrs Nkechi Okeke, who lost her son. The card and a check of $1000 will be mailed to Mrs Cecy Okeke.
